With seven years of experience with school based service delivery and working with diverse caseloads in a variety of districts, Andrea has experienced the challenges providers and districts face in meeting the needs of their students. 

Challenges including staffing needs, rising caseloads, heavy workloads, need for teacher and professional staff education and barriers to parent and family involvement often lead to burn out for providers and high turnovers for school districts. 

Andrea believes in the importance and need for school based therapy. Her background growing up as a Mexican-American first generation student and current expertise as a Bilingual Speech-Language pathologist drives her passion for working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
